We would like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in the Republic of Turkey on February 6, 2023, and our heartfelt sympathies to those affected by the disaster.

The Mina Tan Charm was born from a project aimed at providing long-term support for the recovery of Minamisanriku Town in Miyagi Prefecture, which sustained devastating damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011.
Tae Ashida collaborated with local sewing technicians who were affected by the disaster at the time, and each item is made with care and love.

When the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred, the Republic of Turkey, based on its longstanding cooperative relationship with Japan, sent an emergency rescue team on the 10th day after the disaster and provided a great deal of support. We have never forgotten this kindness and gratitude.
