Tae Ashida designed the costumes for the special movie "Zange Utopia ~Dune~," a collaboration between musicians, dancers, designers, and photographers.
" Zange Utopia " is an ambient piece by musician and actor Kaneko Nobuaki, produced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Artists from different genres came together to create the 6-minute 13-second video work " Zange Utopia ~Dune~, " using an excerpt from this 33-minute piece. Ashida created the costume for dancer Emoto Dan. Along with Kaneko, film director Shimizu Yasuhiko, ballet dancer Emoto Dan, photographer Arai Toshiya, and Ashida, the collaboration included each artist. Please enjoy this beautiful yet ephemeral video, where each artist's inspiration blends together to create a work filled with passion and life.
